As regular readers of this blog may already know, Sow’s Ear Studio & Gallery displays my cyanotypes, and they hosted my recent solo exhibit. I’m excited about their upcoming show in March, and I want to help get the word out: they’re holding an open call for artists. Go here for all the details.
While the March Gallery exhibit is going to be a mix of different artists who submit, one lucky artist will be offered a solo show of their own. The show is open to all artists, but it’s important to note that performance, video, and installation work will not be accepted.
If you’re in the area, this is a great chance to meet some of the local artists who already have a working relationship with Sow’s Ear. If you’re not in the area, please note that you (the artist) will be completely responsible for shipping your artwork to the gallery if it is accepted.

February 25, 2011 – Postmark Deadline
March 3, 2011 – Notification
March 7-10, 2011 – Drop off Artwork
March 18, 2011 5pm-8pm Show Opens
April 29, 2011 Show closes
May 2-3, 2011 Pick up
I’m afraid I’m posting this a little late, but there’s still plenty of time to get a submission in before the deadline. The theme of the show is Rebirth. Hope to see you (and your art) there!
