I’m nobody! Who are you?
Are you nobody, too?
Then there’s a pair of us -don’t tell!
They’d banish us, you know.
How dreary to be somebody!
How public, like a frog
To tell your name the livelong day
To an admiring bog!
Emily Dickenson
I am a fine art photographer working in mostly Cyanotype. I have a background in traditional black and white film and converted to digital because of lack of access to a darkroom. Cyanotypes allow me to reclaim the artistic tradition of photography from the sometimes soulless digital process by hand brushing the emulsion onto paper and exposing through a digital negative; combining the latest technology with one of the earliest photo finishing processes.
This blog is something of a photo journal – I post what I’m working on at the moment, not my best and highly edited work. Some of the shots are good, some are bad, and some I will blush over when I look at them a year from now.
As always, all rights reserved,
Very cool! Congrats on entering the blogging world, I look forward to seeing future posts! LOVE the pic at the top of the page, very very cool!

Love this Emily Dickinson poem! And I agree – your header picture is gorgeous – looks like fluid velvet.
I’m just getting into photography. I’m using 35mm film. (old fashioned, I know)
Thanks for the comment on my blog.

Lovely Mary, just lovely! Everyone should experience your very evocative show at Sow’s Ear, 1597 Union St., Schenectady –

Thanks for stopping by – I love B&W too because it really picks out the things that matter. Less wiggle room, but that’s part of the fun.
I have just spent the last hour going over your blog and galleries. What a joy!!! I’m very impressed with your photography and especially cyanotypes. I’ll be back.
Thanks! That kind of compliment means a lot – I appreciate it!
Mary-Pete and I are thinking about you and praying for Corbin and your family. Good luck with the appointment.
My passion is solargraphs and your blog has inspired me even more.
